How do I adjust my Titleist TSi2 driver?
The Titleist TSi2 driver has a SureFit hosel similar to the TS2 driver. The driver comes with a wrench to remove the head and adjust the loft and lie settings.
In this section, let’s see how to adjust the TSi2 driver to change the loft and lie settings. The steps to move the weight are provided in the last section of the article.
- Use only the Titleist wrench to open or close the screws on the TSi2 driver. Using other tools will damage the screw heads.
- Place the wrench on the screw head and turn it in an anticlockwise direction to loosen the screw.
- When the screw is fully open, remove the head to adjust the loft and lie settings.
- The loft and lie are denoted through the two cogs or rings with alphabets on the top ring (A, B, C, D) and numbers on the bottom ring (1, 2, 3, 4). You can choose from 16 different settings for an increased draw or fade bias by aligning the alphabets and numbers on the rings.
- Finalize the loft and lie angle settings by turning the rings and fixing them in the desired alphabet + number combination. You can reduce the loft by up to 0.75° or increase it by up to 1.5°. Similarly, you can flatten the lie by up to 0.75° or make it upright by up to 0.75° from the standard position.
- Place the head back on the club shaft and use the wrench to tighten the screw.
- Turn the wrench in the clockwise direction until you hear a click sound. Stop immediately, and don’t tighten it any further.
- Follow the same procedure each time you want to adjust the settings.
The TSi2 driver offers more forgiveness, higher launch and helps covers longer distances than the TS2 driver. The off-center hits are much better when you use this driver. The loft and lie adjustments can effectively influence and boost your shots.
The aerodynamic design of the clubhead and the extra rounded area add to the speed of the shots. However, if you already hit the shots high, TSi2 isn’t the perfect choice for you.
