Use impact location before changing hardware

If the R360 XD Driver launches too low
- Start around half the ball above the crown, then adjust in small steps from actual strike location.
- The head is not inherently low-launching, so a very low flight often points to low-face contact or delivered-loft/setup issues rather than the head profile itself.
- If you need a permanent loft change, the proper head-level solution is the 10.5° version rather than trying to bend or 'unlock' the hosel.

- This model already tends to launch high, so first lower tee height slightly and make sure impact is not excessively high on the face.
- If you truly need less static loft, use the 8.5° factory head option.

Do not shorten automatically; this build is not unusually long. Shorten only if impact mapping shows a real consistency benefit.
Can you change the shaft?
Yes. The captured stock shaft specification is TaylorMade XD-60 graphite. Because the hosel is bonded, a shaft swap is a club-building job. Fit the replacement around delivered loft, strike, feel and dispersion rather than relying only on a shaft’s marketing label.
