Use impact location before changing hardware

If the Tour Burner Driver launches too low
- Start around half the ball above the crown. If contact is consistently low on the face, raise the tee slightly; if it is excessively high, lower it slightly.
- If flight is low, diagnose strike first; low-face contact can suppress launch even when the stated loft is adequate.
- Spin is already low-to-mid-low, so avoid changes that simultaneously reduce both launch and spin.
- If you need a permanent loft change, the proper head-level solution is the 10.5° version rather than trying to bend or 'unlock' the hosel.
If it launches too high
- Lower tee height slightly and check whether impact is too high on the face before changing the build.

Spec combinations that matter
- Make one change at a time. With a fixed head, strike and delivered loft usually matter more than tiny CG changes from tape.
Should you shorten the shaft?
The standard length is 45.5 in. The 45.5-inch stock length is on the long side. A 0.5-inch shorter test build is reasonable if centre contact is inconsistent.
Can you change the shaft?
Yes. The captured stock shaft specification is RE*AX SuperFast 60 Fujikura. Because the hosel is bonded, a shaft swap is a club-building job. Fit the replacement around delivered loft, strike, feel and dispersion rather than relying only on a shaft’s marketing label.
30-second baseline setup
