Use impact location before changing settings

If the G2 launches too low
- Raise tee height slightly if impact is low on the face; low-face contact can suppress launch and add spin.
- If you need a permanent loft increase, the proper head-level solution is the 11.5° factory option rather than trying to bend the hosel.
If it launches too high
- Lower the tee slightly and check whether contact is excessively high on the face.
- If you genuinely need less static loft, the 7° factory option is the stronger head-level choice.
If you are fighting a slice
- After strike is reasonable, start with about 2 g of lead tape toward the heel if you want a small draw-bias nudge.
- If the miss comes with heel strikes, fix contact before chasing a new shaft.
If you are fighting a hook
- After checking toe strikes, about 2 g of lead tape toward the toe can provide a small fade-bias/head-feel nudge.
- A fixed hosel cannot simply be flattened or opened with a wrench.

30-second baseline setup
- Start with roughly half the ball above the crown.
- Play the ball around the lead heel as a baseline.
- Mark impact before changing hardware.
- Use small lead-tape changes only after strike is repeatable.
- If launch is fundamentally wrong, move to the appropriate factory loft rather than trying to bend the hosel.
What not to do
- Do not attack the hosel with a modern PING wrench; there is no adjustable sleeve.
- Do not heat or bend the bonded hosel as a normal consumer adjustment.
- Do not assume a sole screw is a movable shot-shape weight unless PING documents it that way.
