The Mizuno JPX ONE Hybrid uses Mizuno Quick Switch adjustability. Start from the neutral setting, then use the indexed hosel positions to tune launch and trajectory.

How to adjust the Mizuno JPX ONE Hybrid
- Loosen the sole screw.Support the head and use a Mizuno-compatible torque wrench until the head releases from the adapter.
- Read the sleeve before rotating it.Use the markings on your exact adapter. Do not copy a chart from another Mizuno generation.
- Select one setting change at a time.Start near neutral and make a single loft / lie change so you can tell what actually changed in ball flight.
- Reseat the head fully.Make sure the shaft adapter is completely seated with the chosen mark aligned.
- Tighten to the wrench stop.Tighten until the torque wrench clicks or reaches its designed stop. Do not overtighten past the tool’s signal.
- Hit a small test set.Compare launch, strike location, curvature and carry before making another change.
What loft changes do to the JPX ONE Hybrid ball flight
| Change | Launch | Spin | Carry / gap | Roll | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Add loft | Higher | Usually more | Shorter gap | Less | Player needing easier launch or more stopping power |
| Reduce loft | Lower / stronger | Usually less | Longer gap | More | Player needing more separation from the next iron |
Who should adjust the Mizuno JPX ONE Hybrid?
Worth adjusting when…
- The hybrid sits too close to the fairway wood or long iron in distance
- You need an easier-launching flight
- You want to tune trajectory without changing shafts
Do not adjust just because…
- You are trying to cure a slice / hook caused mainly by face-to-path
- Contact is inconsistent across the face
- You have not established a neutral baseline first
Best starting point for the Mizuno JPX ONE Hybrid
Start from the neutral / stated-loft position and hit 5–10 representative shots. If launch and carry are too low, move one setting toward more loft. If launch is excessive or the flight balloons, move one setting toward less loft. Change only one setting at a time.
