Cobra AMP Cell Driver Loft Chart

The Cobra AMP Cell driver has 5 listed factory loft options. The listed lofts are 9°, 9.5°, 10.5°, 11.5° and 12°. The chart focuses on the stated head lofts themselves; actual launch and spin still depend on delivery, strike and the rest of the build.

How to use it: Use the lower lofts for a stronger, flatter starting point and the higher lofts for easier launch. Actual ball flight still depends heavily on delivered loft and strike.

What stands out: The listed lofts span , from 9° to 12°. This gives the model a meaningful range of starting points for launch and distance fitting.

Loft Spread

The listed lofts cover , from 9° to 12°.

Choice Spacing

The adjacent listed loft gaps run from 0.5° to 1°, with a median of 0.8°.

9° vs 12°

Moving from 9° to 12° adds 3° of static loft. The higher-loft option generally starts from an easier-launching, higher-spin baseline.

Fitting note: The chart is based on the stated factory lofts. Actual playing loft and flight can vary with build, lie, shaft lean, setup and strike.

Option 1 This is the strongest listed loft and the lowest-launching starting point within the model.
Option 2 9.5° This sits between the strongest and weakest listed lofts for a more middle-of-the-range starting point.
Option 3 10.5° This sits between the strongest and weakest listed lofts for a more middle-of-the-range starting point.
Option 4 11.5° This sits between the strongest and weakest listed lofts for a more middle-of-the-range starting point.
Option 5 12° This is the weakest listed loft and the easiest-launching starting point within the model.

Cobra AMP Cell Loft FAQs

What lofts does the Cobra AMP Cell come in?

The listed lofts are 9°, 9.5°, 10.5°, 11.5° and 12°.

What is the loft range of the AMP Cell?

It runs from to 12°, a 3° total span.

What is the typical loft gap?

The median adjacent loft gap is 0.8°.

Which AMP Cell loft should launch highest?

The 12° option is the highest listed loft and should provide the highest-launching starting point, all else equal.

Can you adjust the loft?

Yes. The AMP Cell uses Cobra’s early MyFly adjustable hosel. Loosen the hosel screw counterclockwise with the Cobra wrench, pull the shaft free enough to rotate the sleeve, align the desired loft/trajectory marking in the window, reinsert the shaft and tighten clockwise until the wrench clicks. This generation uses six selectable settings rather than the later MyFly8 system; some settings are marked Draw. SmartPad is designed to keep the club sitting relatively square as loft is changed.

Does more loft always mean a better result?

No. The best loft depends on the club type, player delivery, strike and the distance or trajectory window you are trying to hit.

Spec & fitting disclaimer: Loft availability and specifications can vary by year, region, handedness and configuration. Verify the exact club with Cobra’s official documentation or an authorized fitter before ordering or adjusting equipment.
