Callaway Women’s Quantum Mini Adjustment Guide – Settings & Chart

The Callaway Women's Quantum Mini driver uses the OptiFit 4 multi-cog hosel with 7 unique loft/lie configurations using +, – and neutral marks. Its second tuning system is Front/rear movable weights. Factory lofts captured for this model run 11.5° to 13.5°.

Exact hosel settings

System OptiFit 4 multi-cog hosel
Configurations 7 unique loft/lie configurations
Marks +, – and blank/neutral
+ Weakens loft or makes lie more upright depending on cog
Strengthens loft or makes lie flatter depending on cog
+ / – together No net change on that loft/lie axis
What the weight system actually does: The weights work front-to-back: heavier mass forward is the lower-spin/flatter direction; rearward is the higher-launch/more-forgiving direction. Do not treat this as a heel/toe draw-fade slider.

Weight adjustment

Front / rear adjustable weighting Set the heavy weight forward for a flatter, lower-spin flight; set it back for more launch, MOI and forgiveness.

Use impact location before changing settings

Strike Typical effect What to try first
High face Often raises launch and reduces spin If flight is already high and low-spin, do not keep raising the tee.
Low face Often lowers launch and adds spin Raise tee height slightly before changing loft.
Heel Can add fade/slice gear effect Improve centred contact before stacking more draw bias.
Toe Can add draw/hook gear effect Check strike before adding more draw/upright bias.

How to adjust the hosel

  1. Support the head and insert a Callaway-compatible torque wrench into the hosel/sole screw.
  2. Loosen counter-clockwise until the head separates from the adapter.
  3. Rotate the cog(s) to the desired setting and align the reference marks exactly.
  4. Fully reseat the shaft; do not tighten it while crooked or partly engaged.
  5. Tighten clockwise until the torque wrench clicks, then stop.
  6. Change one variable at a time and test several shots.

Best settings for this specific adjustment system

Goal Best first move
Higher launch / more spin Use the OptiFit 4 ‘+’ direction to weaken/add loft, changing only the loft axis first. If more launch/forgiveness is still needed, move the heavier mass rearward.
Lower launch / less spin Use the OptiFit 4 ‘-‘ direction to strengthen/reduce loft, changing only the loft axis first. If you still need less spin after the loft change, move the heavier mass forward.
More draw tendency Use the more upright OptiFit 4 lie direction after setting loft.
More fade tendency Use the flatter OptiFit 4 lie direction after setting loft.
Tighter dispersion Return to the neutral/baseline hosel and stock weight position, map strike location, then change only one control.

Factory loft choices

Loft Best starting use
11.5° Lowest-loft option; strongest starting point for players already producing enough launch.
13.5° Highest-loft option; easiest starting point for more launch and carry.

Spec combinations and warnings

  • Do not reduce loft and move the heavy weight fully forward in the same step unless you actually need a large spin reduction; stacked changes can cost carry.
  • OptiFit 4 uses +, – and neutral cog marks with seven configurations; it is not the standard 8-way N/D driver sleeve.

30-second baseline setup

  1. Start at the neutral/stated-loft setting for this hosel generation.
  2. Start with roughly half the ball above the crown and mark impact.
  3. Keep the movable weight in its neutral/stock position while you establish loft.
  4. Set launch first, then directional lie/face bias, then weight bias.
  5. Re-check strike after every meaningful setting change.

Common mistakes

  • Using an adjustment chart from the wrong Callaway hosel generation.
  • Changing loft and movable weighting together, then not knowing which change helped.
  • Treating a front/rear weight system like a heel/toe draw-fade slider or vice versa.
  • Continuing to tighten after the torque wrench clicks.
  • Ignoring heel/toe strike when the real problem is impact location rather than settings.

Disclaimer: Adjustment systems and settings can vary by model, year, region and component configuration. Before loosening the hosel or movable weights, confirm the correct settings, compatible wrench and adjustment procedure in Callaway’s official documentation for your exact driver.
