Use impact location before changing settings

How to adjust the hosel
- Support the head and insert a Callaway-compatible torque wrench into the hosel/sole screw.
- Loosen counter-clockwise until the head separates from the adapter.
- Rotate the cog(s) to the desired setting and align the reference marks exactly.
- Fully reseat the shaft; do not tighten it while crooked or partly engaged.
- Tighten clockwise until the torque wrench clicks, then stop.
- Change one variable at a time and test several shots.

Spec combinations and warnings
- The movable weight is a directional-bias tool, not a front/rear launch track. Do not describe heel/toe movement as a separate low-spin setting.
- This is the older Open/Square/Closed OptiFit generation. Do not use the later -1/S/+1/+2 N/D chart.
30-second baseline setup
- Start at the neutral/stated-loft setting for this hosel generation.
- Start with roughly half the ball above the crown and mark impact.
- Keep the movable weight in its neutral/stock position while you establish loft.
- Set launch first, then directional lie/face bias, then weight bias.
- Re-check strike after every meaningful setting change.
Common mistakes
- Using an adjustment chart from the wrong Callaway hosel generation.
- Changing loft and movable weighting together, then not knowing which change helped.
