|---|---|
| Low face | Often lowers launch and adds spin. Raise tee height slightly before changing loft. |
| Heel | Can add fade/slice gear effect. Improve centred contact before adding draw bias. |
| Toe | Can add draw/hook gear effect. Check strike before adding fade bias. |
How to adjust
- Use the correct Callaway torque wrench.
- Loosen counter-clockwise until the head separates.
- Rotate to a valid setting for this hosel generation.
- Fully reseat the head and align the marks.
- Tighten until the wrench clicks, then stop.
Best first changes
| More launch | Add loft one step first. |
|---|---|
| Less launch/spin | Reduce loft one step first. |
| Right miss | Use the more upright/draw direction only after strike is centred. |
| Left miss | Use the flatter/neutral direction where the hosel provides it. |
