How slope works on this model
The Tour X JOLT uses Slope-adjusted distance.
The laser first measures the direct line-of-sight distance. The slope system then uses elevation information to estimate a playing distance.
Uphill shots generally receive a longer adjusted distance than the direct reading; downhill shots generally receive a shorter adjusted distance.
Slope control and display behavior
Bushnell’s Exchange Technology uses interchangeable faceplates: attach the red faceplate to enable Slope +/- and the black faceplate to remove slope-compensated ranging.
In Slope +/- mode the viewfinder initially shows dashes to indicate the mode is active.
Range the target with POWER, then continue holding POWER for about two seconds while keeping the aiming circle steady so the inclinometer can measure slope.
After release, the Tour X displays the slope angle and compensated play-as distance beneath the standard distance.
